Early Childhood Educator Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a full-time caring, engaging, energetic, reliable nanny for our 12 month old daughter in our home. We also have a 4 year-old son who will be in Junior Kindergarten in September, and will require assistance with pick-up after school (walking distance from our home), as well as some care throughout the Summer when he is not in camps. In addition to the above, we are looking for someone: · to provide a safe, supportive and attentive environment. · with a good grasp of English who has the ability to play with kids at their level and engage with them in their interests. We do not want any screen time and want the focus to be on spending quality, interactive time with our child when she is not napping. · with a learning focused approach who will help teach practical life skills and early academics. · who will ensure that our child gets daily outdoor, nature time and physical activity (parks, walks, eventually biking and scootering). · who will read with our child and who has some facility with art, dance/music, cooking/baking. · who has experience and comfort caring for multiple children · who will organize and supervise play dates/outings in the community. · who will make nutritious meals and snacks for our child. · who tidies up after themselves and after play and who will do some food prep and light cleaning when our child naps. To be clear, we are not looking for or expecting a cleaner/chef/ housekeeper, just someone who will carry out these light tasks when the child is napping.
