Early childhood educator in Toronto, Ontario

I am an overseas Early Childhood Assistant looking for a job in Toronto with at least 30 working hours a week. I'm looking for a long term and full time position.  

I have been working as a kindergarten educator for over 1 year with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Doing class tuition for kids after school for almost 2 years now.

My job duties are to help and keep an eye on the children when they are doing lessons, assist them to the bathroom, help them during snack time, conduct outdoor activities, singing rhymes and telling stories.  

My name is Abigail. I am a very devoted and patient Kindergarten teacher here in India. I am a Filipino, Catholic, Non smoking, a full time hands on - a mother of 2 lovely kids ( 7 years old / 2 years old) Being a mother I built a solid and strong foundation of being a childcare teacher .

Below are some highlights of my relevant experience and qualifications:

· Supervised two (2) large groups of kindergarten students (55- 60) on a daily basis, fully conducting class with the help of the class teacher

· Creative and willing to present and try new ideas

· Possess high level of concern to child’s welfare

I'm not in Canada yet. I currently live in India but I am able to come to Canada through the Temporary Foreign Working Permit. This program allows for me to apply for a visa to work and I am able to cover the costs myself. The only requirement is that I have a valid job offer.

I am comfortable working independently and as part of a team. I strongly prioritise critical thinking and creativity, skills that I encourage with my assignments and duties and take pride in tailoring everything that I create to the unique needs of each classroom. I am a certified Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Pune India. I have completed my Bachelor Degree in Science major in Mass Communication - Manila Philippines. Additionally, I have also been decorating balloons as my hobby for some time, and enjoy sharing my love of arts with my students.
