Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have volunteered at various children’s camps in the past and I feel I am very well suited for the job. Some of the camps I have volunteered at are: Parklawn summer camp (parks & rec), and Pawsitively Pets summer camp. Working with children at these camps has allowed me to improve my skills in managing large groups of kids. I have a passion for working with children, and have had a lot of experience in the field. I have babysat children of various ages for the past 5 years. Babysitting has allowed me to become very patient, reliable, and responsible person. I did co-op during the 2013/201... school year at Beverley Elementary School. It is part of the TDSB, and is a school that is specifically for developmentally and physically disabled students. In my class, none of the students could walk or talk, and ranged from the ages 4 to 7. I learned so much working in this classroom, from communicating with disabled children to helping them thrive despite their circumstances. I absolutely loved it and learned so much about taking care of kids as well as managing groups of them. I also was a part of the Best Buddies club at my school in the 2011/201... school year, and I absolutely loved it. I was a friend to a girl who had trouble fitting in and making new friends, due to her autism. I am very personable, enthusiastic, and would love a job working with children.
