Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

Hi, my name is Marissa, i am a 23 year old child care professional. I graduated from sheridan college and have an Early Childhood Education Diploma and college of ECE certification. With a 3 and a half years of experience working with children ages 0 – 6yrs, in different childcare settings, I believe that my qualifications will match the requirements that you are looking for. I am a patient, calm, child-centered and flexible individual with a solid knowledge of Child Development. I pride myself to be a positive and have a sensitive attitude towards children and staff. I also pride myself on the ability to devise fun age appropriate educational activities based on children’s interests. I have worked collaboratively as a team with other educators in several different childcare environments. I have well developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills towards children staff and parents. I currently work for the YMCA doing the before and after school program at St Anthony of Padua Catholic School in Milton and looking for a full time position. i have also worked at the sheridan college child care centre in mississauga and have experience with all age groups throughout my education years. I currently have my CPR and first aid training.
