My name is Carmelina Puopolo and I have completed my master’s degree in Special Education at the College of Saint Rose located in Albany, NY. I completed my undergraduate degree at the College of Saint Rose as well, majoring in Childhood Education with a concentration in Biology and a Minor in French. Furthermore, I have already been qualified with Special Education Part 1 - Additional Qualification (AQ) Course. Additionally, I am currently furthering my education by completing the French FSL Part 1 – Additional Qualification (AQ) Course. As a teacher for your school board, not only will I uphold the strict regulations mandated by the Ministry of Education, I will also partake in many extra-curricular activities such as coaching and after school homework clubs. My goal is to be a positive role model for your students, both in and out of the classroom, and an excellent representative for your board as a whole. I have sufficient experience in a variety of workplaces. I have worked for many different companies and I have a background in preventing work related injuries, training other employees, as well as teaching related experience through tutoring and coaching. Additionally, I am able to work both individually and as a team, which I believe are two essential skills which all teachers must possess. Finally, I am a strong advocate for integrating technology in the classroom. This past summer, I worked for The Child Experience (TCE) as a camp director where I worked with children every day.
