Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have a 3-year experience with working with children, through George Brown. I volunteered at Fashion District Childcare, Richmond-Faywood Childcare Centre, Adelaide Early Child Centre, and York University Cooperative Centre. I currently supply at Faywood Childcare Centre for over two years now and I worked at an after-school program assisting children. I recently went to Ghana to volunteer with primary school students. Thus, I am confident that my education, experiences, and skills such as my leadership qualities and organizational planning abilities qualify me for this position. Through play based learning and resources such as ELECT—How Does Learning Happen, I am able create emergent curriculum activities for toddlers, and preschoolers, weekly program plans that respect diversity, equity, and inclusion of all children, families and the communities. Children are essentially the change for the future and as mentors we want the best for them and to make sure we guide them through their journey through positivity and love. Leading children to success and happiness, and this all starts at the early stages of life with Educators and family. I joined this program to be a part of that team, advocating for children, families and myself as an ECE.
