I am a dedicated and qualified early childhood teacher with a passion for children’s learning and care. I have experience working in preschool environments with children aged two-to-five. I am currently working as a teacher assistant at Puddle Jumpers Daycare located in Yarrow, Chilliwack, BC. As a teacher assistant I am responsible for delivering creative learning and play activities for children aged three-to-four during circle time or free play time. I also work with other teachers to help craft the centre’s curricula. I have developed strong skills in creating fun and interactive learning activities and materials. I excel at observing and reporting on child development and conduct, and establishing a solid rapport with children, families and staff. I also volunteer for six months at Acorn Eight Oaks Daycare and Britannia License Childcare located in Vancouver, BC. In addition to being an organized teacher, I am creative and enthusiastic, and sensitive to children’s individual needs. I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as solid computer skills. Currently, I am studying to become an Early Childhood Educator at the Pacific RIM Early Childhood Institute and recently I got my Teacher Assistant Certificate in British Columbia. I hold a current first aid certificate, police record check, also I have taken a number of education courses in BC to update my knowledge including the Behaviour Interventionist Partnership Program, useful for working with kids with autism; a Responsible Adults in Childcare Settings Certificate, among other courses mentioned in my curriculum vitae. I believe that I would be a valuable addition to the team in the Childcare Centre ¬−a place where I can continue to help kids learn in a fun, creative and safe environment, and contribute to their growth and well-being.
