Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

My Mum is an elementary school teacher. From a young age I\\\'ve dreamed of working with children of all ages. I baby sit on a regular basses. i have learned to care for babies to fourteen year olds. I volunteer at St. Joan of Arc, assisting my Mum with her classes. Since she is a substitute I have exposure to grades kindergarten to six. In 2012 i volunteered at Elbow Valley Elementary school assisting a grade one class with an art/science project. I hope to one day change the lives of many children, with my patience, artistic abilities and love for children. In several of my Mums classes there has been children with special needs. I have been instructed and have learnt how to deal with some of their needs. As well, I have grown up and with friends and kids in my classes with special needs and have found that they are amazing people that have voices that are not always heard unless someone truly spends quality time with them.
