Early childhood educator in Black Diamond, Alberta

I have two boys now 16 and 14 and a 5 year old girl. For six years I was employed by the Calgary Board Of Education as a Educational Assistant. I have worked in kindergarten mostly but I have worked in a number of other grades held a position with the Foothills School Division as a PUF assistant with 2 preschool aged children in their home and in their preschools. Also from last July 2009 to Sept of 2010 I worked at the Childrens Place Childcare Centre as a childcare worker and then from Sept to May of 2011 I worked at the center as a Preschool teacher and a childcare worker. May of 2011 I decided to open a Dayhome from my home. Then in August 2011 I decided to go back to school into the ECE program. I graduated with high grades and almost perfect attendance, I recieved a scholarship for my grades, attendance and my leadership. I completed the second year of the ELCC program in April 2013. Receiving my diploma, I am currently employed with the Dewinton Community Preschool as a Preschool Teacher.
For six years with the CBE I have worked directly with children with special needs. I have worked with speech and language, behavour,physical delays, O.T. and P.T. Autism and learning disablities. And with the FSD I worked with children with Speech difficulties.
