I have more than 6 years experiences working with children. This valuable experience has afforded me the opportunity to develop the following: • Providing quality child care service to children (between 1-7 years old) and their families with different cultural background • Developing age appropriated activities on a wide range of topics which supporting over-all domains of child development • Ensuring a safe, nurturing and enjoyable learning environment for children • Supporting each individual child unique need in order to create a more inclusive classroom • Being able to work as a team or independently under pressure I had worked with children with special needs in my first placement. She was a really sensitive girl but also stubborn. Sometimes I also needed to consider her situation in any activity we did in the class. also, i tried to bring in different book about special needs to the class and let them understand the differences between. At the same time, i also emphasized the situation in the class but treat her as a normal child and tried different way to help her engage with the rest of class.
