Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I am a registered early childhood educator who loves children. I have facilitated large and small groups of children all ages in both academic and summer recreational settings. Additionally in my day care experience I have organized educational and recreational activities, formed curriculum, worked with children in groups and individually. When it comes to early childhood education I believe in the child centered approach and realize that some children need extra special attention. I am a loud and clear speaker with the ability to explain complex things in simple engaging ways. My background spans Russia, South Africa and the Middle East which has made me culturally sensitive. I am able to speak English and Russian fluently, and basic french. I am patient and positive and enjoy teaching. At Little Learners I have cared for children with autism and down syndrome. Also, at Mary Straws Ministry I have cared for children with special needs through music therapy. I have also cared for children with autism and visual impairment. My brother in law is autistic and has been a constant source of inspiration for me.
