Early Childhood Educator in Orleans, Ontario

My frist experience was at-home babysitting during the summer for a family with 2 girls which including planning activities and feeding the children. Next, I was a skating instructor for children 3 and up, this involved planning lessons and teaching games and activities. More recently, I have worked in a playroom which caters to newborns to age 12. This included many tasks such as interactions with children which included finding activities for the children to participate in, and also tasks such as feeding, and putting to infants down for naps. While interacting with children, I also insured a safe and clean environment, and interacted with parents. I have experience with Children with Special needs during my time as a skating instructor, and more directly as a playroom associate. Through this experience I have learned new communication skills and about how to cater to Children with Special Needs who may require more attention.
