Early Childhood Educator in Mississauga, Ontario

I graduated from Humber with a diploma in Early Childhood Education, which led to my position of Early Childhood Educator at Little Hands Child Center. There I held the positions of key holder and lead instructor for multiple age groups. Working with mentors and other staff members there, I learned the important responsibility, team roles, and team leaders, throughout my relationships with staff, parents, and children, but the community as a whole. Currently, I am a shift supervisor at Starbucks where I am responsible for managing staff, making sure specific tasks are completed, and being a team player. Many of the skills I have brought with me to Starbucks and developed there are qualities connected to my work as an ECE. These include; building relationships with all people of all ages, having compassion and care for guests, and making sure the environment is inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
