Rowntree Montessori Schools (RMS) is a private school offering Pre-Kindergarten(starting at 2 years 8 months old) to Grade 8 educational programming in multiple, friendly and family-oriented campuses. RMS is a GOLD Member of OFIS (Ontario Federation of Independent Schools) as well as the largest and longest serving Montessori school in Brampton, having been registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education since 1969. The successful/ideal applicant will - Have an undergraduate degree. - Proof of successful completion of teaching degree/training - Teaching experience will be considered an asset but is not required - Be proficient and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications - Have familiarity with In-classroom Learning Technologies and applications (SMART Notebook, Chromebooks, Google Apps, Document Cameras, Student Response systems, ...) will be considered an asset - Indicate a willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities before, during and after school - Be able to integrate and work in a positive team player environment - Be able to communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues - Have excellent Oral, Writing, Communication and Presentation Skills - Provide a criminal reference check - Provide a medical certificate of good health upon request This is a full-time role with the opportunity for professional growth and career stability.
