Early Childhood Educator in Markham, Ontario

In September 2010, I went to Seneca College in Toronto, and graduated in June 2013 with a Social Service Worker Diploma. Within those 3 years I had taken classes such as sociology, interpersonal communications, diversity, awareness & practice, social problems, group dynamics, human development, principles of practice, interviewing, community studies, families in change, case co-ordination, advocacy strategies, supportive counselling, child welfare, community practice, social policies & integrative seminars. Within this program and those 3 years, I also did 3 internships at a YMCA Daycare, Crisis Pregnancy & Counselling Centre affiliated with the Markham-Stouffville Hospital. In January 2014, I then became enrolled in the Psychoeducation seminars at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto until March where I studied anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, add/adhd, psychology and different medications. I then founded my own anti-bullying campaign where I host mental health awareness assemblies to students in schools to help prevent bullying called Live Your Dream Campaign. I am currently at York University for human resources management until spring 2017 and working as a preschool and kindergarten teaching assistant and social service worker and then In 2016, I became an official Kind Campaign ambassador.
