I have two children of my own, who are currently age 4 and 18 months. I have also cared for children as a youth. My daughter has sensory disorders and is suspected ASD. I have had a lot of personal experience in dealing with misbehavior, meltdowns, sensory problems, and separation anxiety.

I have worked primarily as a substitute teacher in all grade levels but have spent significant time with pre-school aged children. I have worked in several classes that work with special needs and am familiar with all types of needs including behavior, speech, and physical impediments.

I'm master of computer science and have bachelors in English literature and psychology. I have 5 yrs experience as an IT teacher and 3 years as academics coordinator.
