When assisting Children with special needs you must understand their likes and dislikes and their activities must match their needs and interest.Also you must offer them choices

Babysitting, and also peer tutoring kids in high school in gym classes. Church camps as a church leader. In high school worked in the classroom along side them in gym classes. Making sure they got the extra help if need be.
