Early Childhood Educator in Victoria, British Columbia

I worked at a child care center for four and a half years in Japan, during which I was mostly in charge of infant and toddler classes. I also had quite a few experiences to play with children between 0 and 6 years old. Through the years, I have acquired a good background on child development and growth. In addition, I am currently studying to acquire knowledge and skills about Canadian Early Childhood Education. I am amiable, reliable and creative. I make good relationships between staff, children and their parents, and myself. As for my responsibilities, if a child is upset for any reason, I try to figure out what bothers them and encourage them to take part in the other children’s activity. Also, I would like to share the children’s growth with their parents. When I worked in a child care center in Japan, I also contributed a lot of my ideas about craft events. I believe it is important for children and adults to enjoy being happy with each other. I have ECEA License and I also have a current first aid/CPR and clear Criminal Record Check. I am looking forward to a long term job in child care center.
