Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

I have worked with a wide range of age groups in residential camp settings for eight summers. I also worked as a private child care provider. I completed a practicum placement in a kindergarten class at the University of Guelph Child Care and Learning Centre and also in the Child Life Department at Sick Kids Hospital. Additionally, I have volunteered with Girls Guides of Canada, Guelph Multiple Births and a Frontier College Literacy program. In working at residential summer camps, I have gained experience working with children and adults with special needs through the Reach for the Rainbow organization. In my practicum placements, I also gained experience working with children and adolescents with special needs, and in adapting programs to fit their needs. Through my volunteer positions I have had the opportunity to work with children with varying abilities, from a variety of backgrounds.
