I am looking for a job in a pre-school or child care center, however I am open to private day time care arrangements as well. I have experience working with children from 0 - 12 years of age. I have a compassionate and respectful approach towards children of all ages and I believe everyone can thrive in a happy, safe and understanding environment. I am a mother myself to a 4 year old boy with Autism and it has been my passion to work with children on the spectrum as well as embrace their needs and celebrate their unique and amazing personalities. I integrate academic learning, organization and exercise through play, as well as encouragement in exploration and discovery. I am able to provide healthy meals, snacks, and age appropriate activities as well as any hygienic needs and personal care required. I am highly adaptable and have personal experience with ABA, Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy programs to help reinforce and encourage progress through treatment. I love organizing and involving children in both indoor and outdoor activities as well as maintaining an attentive and clean environment. I am currently a student, looking to obtain a degree which would allow me to further assist and provide services to children in special education. I look forward to working in this field, as well as continue to contribute and expand on my experience in child care. I hope we make a good match and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sofiya watched my daughter in her home, when I returned to work full-time; it was from about 4 months' old til a year old. We would have continued using her services, except we moved closer to my job and had to change our childcare arrangements. Sofiya was very reliable, affectionate and took great care of her. She provided a safe environment as my daughter started to crawl and encouraged her to explore the world around her including listening to music, playing with others and developing motor skills. Sofiya also noted all of the bottles, diapers, etc. in the log so that I was informed on her day. I would not hesitate to leave my children in Sofiya's care.
