Hello there! I'm Mal and I am an incoming sophomore at George Mason University.
I have been caring for children (i.e. babysitting) since the age of 12 and given that I'm the oldest child of my family, I started by watching my younger brothers and then began to expand to outside of the house for children of relatives and kids in my neighborhood. Over the last few years, I've worked primarily with infants and toddlers, but I truly love kids of all ages. I am known to be well organized and highly responsible while also being responsive and flexible towards the varying needs of children in diverse stages of their development.
Some fun facts about me include: I can read, write, and speak in three languages―English, Amharic, and intermediate French, as well as, in my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and baking.
