I have great leadership skills with very strong administration performances. I have a post secondary education, from Durham College in Early Childhood Education. After Graduation I moved to Calgary, AB where I became a Assistant Director and Director of a daycare facility one being an aboriginal childcare facility where I completed many tasks with the aboriginal community by setting up family fun days to support the needs of the aboriginal community. I then moved north to Bonnyville, AB, where I became the Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club. Many of my skills used for this position with the Boys and Girls Club would benefit this type of career. I coordinated many activities related to fundraising events to bring in money to help with the planning of the daily activities for the youth members and staff to implement. I recruited my youth workers into the program and did the complete hiring and the enrollment of all youth members of the club. I completed all budgets, proposals, and project planning as well as the full implementation of projects for the youth members with using my exceptional administration, interpersonal, leadership, decision making, organizational, and communication skills and many more to complete my tasks with The Boys and Girls Club. I know have grown in receiving great knowledge working for Quarry Park Child Development Centre for the YMCA, located in Calgary, Alberta. Where I have increased my knowledge within problem solving skills and resolving conflict through creating a balanced team of staff members for a non-profit organization.
