I have received a diploma in youth justice studies from Bow Valley College, so I have extensive knowledge on the youth justice system and youth involved in it. I also have my Alberta Child Care Staff Certification (Child Development Assistant). I have received my First Aid and CPR certification, my ASIST certification (Applied Intervention Skills Training Certification), and I also have my criminal record with vulnerable sectors check available. I also have my drivers licence and the use of a reliable vehicle with full coverage insurance. I have worked with children for many years both in a work and volunteer based manner. I have a passion for working with youth. I am very energetic and enthusiastic, I strive on being organized and using my time efficiently. I work well in both team and individual settings. I can over come any challenge and I am not afraid to ask for help when needed. I look forward to learning new things and being creative for the kids. I am also efficient in the use of Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
