Early Childhood Educator in Holland Landing, Ontario

I have worked as a before and after school care ECE for school aged children, as well as an ECE in a toddler room as part of a work term to complete my degree at Seneca College. In addition, I have completed four 11-week field placements with preschool children, infants & toddlers and kindergarteners. I completed 10 weeks as an outdoor educational camp coach In England, where I was responsible for groups of 10-14 children ranging in age from 5-16 from wake-up to lights out in all of their daily activities and health, safety & well-being. I also have experience as an early childhood dance instructor, where I developed creative movement class plans for 3-5-year-olds in a dance environment. I was hired as an Instructor Therapist with Blue Balloon Health Services after a very successful field placement with the organization. I worked one-on-one with children with various ASD diagnoses, implementing their individualized behavioural therapy during 1-2 hours sessions. I also worked as an assistant to the licensed psychologist at this centre, helping to complete various psychological assessments to use in her diagnoses for children and intervention plans for children and families.
