Early Childhood Educator in Markham, Ontario

During my educational studies at Seneca College, I have completed 4 field placements with different age groups such as, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and school agers. Throughout the field placements, I have learned how to plan, implement, and evaluate emergent curriculum that suitable for individual children's needs. I am able to obtain children's strengths and needs. I enjoyed working with children and helping them to develop and enhance their developmental domains. Throughout my field placements, there were children with special needs in the classroom. I have helped children with autism by assisting them with eating, toileting, hand washing, dressing and communicating. Also, I have helped children with special needs to control themselves with inappropriate behaviours. I have encouraged them to using their words to express their needs.
