Aside from taking care of my son since birth up to 7 years because I need to work here in Canada as a caregiver I also experienced to take care somebodys children like newborn, toddler then pre-schooler and with special needs. Taking care of two children with special needs ages 5 to 11, both have metabolic disorder, mental retardation, and cardiomyopathy, while the other one aside from those mentioned, she had autism. I used to make special formula and was administered via G-tube, daily medications via G-tube also and with urine ketone monitoring.
