Early Childhood Educator in Coquitlam, British Columbia

I have volunteered at my Church Sunday school since 2008 in the toddler room once a month, then after completing practicum for ECE in August at CEFA I have worked at two centres in the infant toddler programs, also including substituting in the Montessori Preschool program at my current centre and I also have some before and after school experience from being a sub at the Learning Experience in Port Coquitlam. From my previous centre I had some experience working with one special needs boy in the infant toddler room, he was a 3 year old boy with Autism. It was a bit challenging without the training but I became comfortable by the end. I had help from other staff members. I spent October 2014 - August 2015 working at Forest Grove childcare as the main teacher in the infant toddler room. We split the class is two rooms and I took over my side. Just about last summer, I took an opportunity to work with ICBC for the past year, but I am currently looking to get back into childcare and looking for a part time position in a school or daycare or even after school care! :)
