Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I have always enjoyed helping and taking care of others, when I was in high school I volunteered for a few summers as a camp counsellor for children aged 6 to 12. Activities included taking care of campers for the duration of the day, supervising and playing with them during swim time, group circles, serving snacks as well as arts and crafts.\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nIn addition, I have 4 years of experience babysitting for children aged 2 months to 3 years old. Activities include meal preparing and feeding them snacks, providing fun and engaging activities such as reading books, playing with (educational) toys, playing at the park and ensuring that children took naps and prepared them for bed time, all while maintain a healthy and safe environment for the child.\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nOther tasks performed include bathing, dressing and feeding both infants and toddlers. I also cleaned up the play area and did light cleaning duties.\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\nI am passionate about taking care of infants and toddlers because being able to teach, learn from and help shape a child\\\\\\\'s life gives me a sense of joy and fulfillment. I currently do not have too much experience with special needs children. However, I have taken care of an autistic child while I was a camp counsellor.
