Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

My name is Xiaoya, my role as co-learner, co-researcher, and co-imaginer of possibilities is to view the child as a mighty learner and citizen. I am focusing on the emergent curriculum and Flight-Alberta Curriculum. I am practicing and learning to create responsive environments and pedagogical documentation to benefit the development of children. I am currently seeking an opportunity as either an assistant teacher or a lead teacher in a supportive and enriching environment in Calgary, Alberta. I have Level 3 certification in early childhood education and work full-time with Seeds of S.P.I.C.E Early Learning Centre Inc. as a primary kindergarten teacher for one year and part-time for three months. I graduated from the Early Childhood Education and Development program at Bow Valley College in December 2022. I designed and supplied appropriate activities for children during my work and study period. I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning space where children can explore, learn, and grow. As an early childhood educator, I look forward to collaborating with our team to create positive relationships with our children, families, and community! I believe the environment is the third teacher and support to form a welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved in a child's education and care. My hourly rate is $20.0, and depending on the demands of the company, I am willing to talk about flexible scheduling.
