Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

Hello, my name is Christine and I have my Child Development Supervisor Level 3 diploma. I started my studies just when I was 17 years old in the ELCC field in Edmonton, and then moved to Calgary to finish my diploma and obtain my level 3. I have 9 years of experience in this field & have worked with children from ages 1-12, as well as worked directly with children with developmental delays. I have been placed in centres in both Edmonton and Calgary for practicum and for work. Starting out young and early in this field has allowed me to learn a lot about how important a healthy partnership is when co-teaching in a room, as well as creating that open and trusting relationship with families/parents. I am able to engage and connect with all children through various and activities experiences. I would need a work place that will challenge me and allow me to showcase my abilities, and further improve my capabilities. Aside from the ELCC field, I am great with Microsoft programs (powerpoint, word, etc). I enjoy doing newsletters, paintings and calligraphy, as well as graphic designs. I have taken a strong interest in the management side of this field and have experience with staffing/scheduling and inputting subsidy for both staff and children. I am itching to learn.
