Early Childhood Educator in Markham, Ontario

Over the past 4 years, I have gained lots of experience. I’ve also done over 600 hours of volunteer work at the Markham Greensborough YMCA Before and After School Program. This daycare was a local YMCA and I had to learn to manage big groups of students and adapt to their styles of productivity. Later on around August 2020, I got a job at a local Wendy’s Restaurant which helped me with my customer service and time management skills. This job, in particular, helped me think quickly on my feet and gave me more responsibilities than my past experiences. My current job is my part-time position as a sales associate at Homesense. This job was more focused on customer service and keeping an organized environment. This job taught me skills relating to inventory management, sales techniques, visual merchandising, problem-solving, patience and collaboration. I strongly believe that I will make a good candidate for the job because I have experience and teaching is my passion. I want to bring a new sense of community and positivity into the work environment. For my future career I would love to be a teacher and I think this opportunity can help me gain experience into starting my career in the education field. My availability is weekends and weekdays after 3:30pm.
