Early Childhood Educator in Mississauga, Ontario

As an enthusiastic individual with much experience and expertise in the teaching field, I would like to apply as an Early Childhood Educator in your school. Enclosed is my curriculum vitae that shows I have extensive education, experience and skill to fulfill the position posted. I graduated with honours from the accelerated program of Early Childhood Education at Seneca College in Toronto. I qualified for that program thanks to more than ten years of teaching experience in the Philippines, as well as my work as a Program and Recreation Leader for the City of Toronto, a Supply Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher for Upper Canada Child Care, and a Volunteer Teacher with a special needs class at the People’s Church of Toronto. At present, I am working as a Director of PLASP Child Care Services Before and After School Kindergarten Program at St. Vincent de Paul School, Mississauga City. I have loved working with children and youth for over fifteen years in a variety of formats and institutions. One of my particular joys is to direct large or small groups in presentations of song and dance. As a choreographer, I find that children are eager to learn to coordinate their minds, bodies and voices in unison, and I draw on this propensity in the classroom. I am a high-energy achiever, with a presence that captivates children and also commands their respect. I have successfully organized children in learning settings, from community outreaches and camps to stage performances and school classrooms, and have learned that I thrive in challenging situations where I can draw on my broad teaching background. I particularly enjoy working with young children, as I find it rewarding to be part of their day to day development.
