Early Childhood Educator in Albuquerque, New Mexico

By becoming a Special Education Science Teacher I was fulfilling an ambition I had had since I was a little boy. My 3rd grade teacher, Ms, Robin, left such an indelible positive imprint upon me of how wonderful it was to be a teacher you see. Even at the age of 8 I could sense that she delighted every time one of her students realized for the first time a new concept. It was this zeal for education that spurred me to the extreme, to reach out to the hardest to reach population at the hardest time of their lives in one of Albuquerque's hardest to reach areas. I became a special education science teacher to middle school students in Albuquerque's South Valley where, as expressed by the students, "it's a right of passage to wear orange". But I kept on because nobody is completely beyond reach. Today I write this with a teaching license (now expired), a BA in Political Science/minor in Economics and an MBA. I have for the last 18 months have acted as one family's exclusive tutor/teacher, and will continue to work with them, but would now like to expand my credentials, knowledge, skills and experience to your kids and family as well. In addition to teaching/tutoring in everything K-8 I can, but have yet to, tutor/teach Algebra/Geometry/Language Arts 9-12 and everything above in traditional/rote and Montessori ways. In my off hours I have been moon lightening as as life skills/executive function coach in person and online. But that is not enough to keep my busy. I also enjoy Jordan Peterson currently, mountain biking, reading, history and am expanding my repertoire to life coach adolescents as well.
