Early Childhood Educator in Gardiner, Maine

I grew up the oldest of siblings and all of my cousins. Loved playing school and teaching my brother what I had learned. I spent a lot of time watching all of my cousins at different ages and realized at an early age that I wanted to work with children. I found my interests lay mostly with preschool and kindergarten. In elementary school I was able to help in preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms. My family has a long history of childcare and teaching. I was often asked to assist in my Aunt's classrooms. I would really like to get back into early childhood education/care. I have my own son, now 9 years old, and have learned so much throughout his younger years. I'd love to share my care and time with little ones again. I was not able to complete college courses due to life changes, but I feel my knowledge from family and my own experiences is more than sufficient. Most recently I have been a nanny for a beautiful, sweet, smart baby girl, who is now nearly 1 1/2.
