My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that children possess more knowledge than they may initially reveal. As educators, it is our responsibility to scaffold and enhance the learning process, activating their existing knowledge. I advocate for inquiry-based teaching practices, where children learn based on their personal interests and meaningful experiences. In addition, I have a strong passion for teaching language skills, particularly phonics, as I firmly believe that it serves as the foundation for children's reading abilities. Phonics instruction enables children to develop essential decoding and encoding skills, empowering them to become proficient readers and writers. I incorporate various engaging and multisensory activities to make phonics instruction enjoyable and effective for every child.
