Early Childhood Educator in Titusville, Florida

I am moving to the area due to a spouse’s job transfer. I am very interested in working with young children.When we lived in Texas, I have previously worked as a Child Care Coordinator at the Battered Women’s Shelter in San Antonio where I was fortunate to be able to plan,schedule and implement activities for the children in the emergency shelter as well as provide mentorships to the clients. I provided support to parents of special needs children and implemented programs for the moms there such as Mommy and Me Sign Language Class. Here in Ohio, I worked at Bright Horizons teaching and training new teachers as well as establishing a partnership with the parents, including hosting parent curriculum nights.I also was the local and regional representative for the company’s Better Together Initiative which coordinates community service and staff incentives, In addition; I sought out extra training to be an Education Coordinator within the organization and completed it. Most recently, I took on the very rewarding experience of being a nanny to a local family. I attended the University of Akron in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education as well as obtaining my Associates in Early Childhood Education from Ashworth University.
