Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I recently completed and graduated from the Educational Studies Bachelor of Arts Degree Program at York University. I have also completed my diploma in Early Childhood Education. Currently, I work at Macaulay Child Care Centre as a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator, specializing with infants and toddlers. I bring the ability to plan and organize suitable programs to guide in children’s development with appropriate learning opportunities, workshops, and resources. Highly motivated and enthusiastic, I have a strong commitment to educating and working with children to guide and further develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities. As a full-time RECE, I am responsible for documenting observations and using assessment tools (Child Care and Early Years Act, How Does Learning Happen, ELECT, ASQ-3, etc.) to plan and implement developmental opportunities based on the needs of the children. With daily communication via email and in person interactions with parents and guardians of the centre, I have established a level of rapport where parents are comfortable to reach out to me for advice, tools, and necessary resources to aid in their needs and the needs of their children. Currently I am looking for a part-time and weekend position.
