Early Childhood Educator in Mississauga, Ontario

I have had several placements while attending at Humber College that consisted of 2 day care centers (Toddler and Preschool Assistant), 1 elementary school (Grade One Assistant), and with Ontario Early Years Centers (Birth-12 years of age). While attending at Humber College I had a placement within the Ontario Early Years Center and was involved as an assistant within many drop in programs. While assisting in a drop-in program I had gained a relationship with a young girl with a speech impairment. This 6 year old little girl could not talk to communicate. She made signs, drew pictures, made noises, and even expressed what she wanted through her body language and facial expressions. She was one of the brightest girls I have ever encountered. She could answer questions by stomping her feet.
