Early Childhood Educator in Airdrie, Alberta

Hello, my name is Christina Lauzon. I am currently a Bachelor of Arts student at St. Mary's University and I will be graduating this June and I have been accepted into the Bachelor of Education program and will begin my studies this September. As of now, I am looking to build on the experience I have with children in a professional learning environment. I have plenty of experience with children since I volunteer regularly at my mother's school in Airdrie, Our Lady Queen of Peace. Part of my volunteering is teaching an art lesson to all of the kindergarten classes. I instruct them in using water paints in a fun craft for Father's Day. I am applying for this position because I would love to gain even more experience since I begin my practicum in October 2017 in elementary. As well as volunteering in a classroom environment I also volunteer in Children's Liturgy reading stories, singing and doing crafts with children of all ages.
