I am Kimberly, a licensed teacher from the Philippines. I humbly believe I can perform the duties and responsibilities outlined in your posting. I am trustworthy, hardworking, flexible and passionate in nurturing little children and helping them reach their milestone and potential as I am a mother and educator myself. I have also worked as a grade 1 teacher before and I realized how incredible young learners warmth, sincerity and creativity. When I become a mother myself, I am able to maximize my learning approaches such as reading and telling stories, providing homeschooling activities, and attending to their basic needs. I am also an active Clinic In-Charge, Girl Scouts of the Philippines Coordinator and Red Cross Youth Coordinator in our school. The skills and qualities I’ve gained in these duties motivate me to be part of an amazing team that is dynamic and has clear perspective and philosophy in childcare and education. Having been teaching in my home country since 2014, I have realized that educators play a crucial role in the lives of our learners especially in their early years. Recently, I have enrolled in a course Introduction to Montessori and joined several support groups in teaching toddlers and preschoolers as I aim to further enhance my knowledge. I even enrolled in a formal caregiving program and Basic Life Support. I have also started processing my Education Assessment Credentials (ECA) and reviewing IELTS in preparation for my venture of finding meaningful employment in Canada. I am flexible with any positions even with those that does not require certifications or regulated education as long as I can perform the job.
