Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I am a Child Studies graduate from Mount Royal University with a major in Child and Youth Care Counselling. I find that working with children and youth is rewarding. I have been a school assistant and lunchroom supervisor for the Calgary Board of Education for a few years. I developed a good rapport with students and staff members, acting in a friendly and professional manner. I assisted the students in the classrooms with schoolwork such as reading, math, and writing. My main priority as a lunchroom supervisor and school assistant was to keep the children safe. I also enjoy working with special needs children. I helped organize the 2018 5th Annual World Autism Awareness Day Event in Calgary. I Also worked with special needs children in specialized classes. Seeing a smile on special needs children brings a smile on my face. I also do have Indigenous awareness, I did a year capstone at my university which allowed me to learn about the indigenous culture and their way of life.
