Early Childhood Educator in Hamilton, Ontario

I have been actively involved with many committees involving children or the well being of children. I have been employed full time since completion of my Early Childhood Education and actively volunteered my time with the local public school system as well as extra cirricular activities involving children all while earning my college diploma. Since my employment I have received many certificates and various awards of recognition. I have received platinum regonition for my commitment to Professional Development. I am currently employed in a senior preschool room setting sharing responsibities with one other team member. I also have experienced andquot;Tweenieandquot;l, Junior preschool, Toddler and School Children age groups. I have learned sign language to assist with a developmentally delayed child to guide behaviour through positive communication. It also proved useful when a deaf child enrolled in the program. I have worked with a few children who have behavioural concerns while still fostering success and pride from within themselves. I have effectively completed "For Goodness Sakes". I have learned about ASD in a three part all day long workshop. I have taken part in berevement seminars to help children with death.
