ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I volunteered for the Foundation EF (Education First) (www.....com) as International Exchange Coordinator from
September 2005 to June 2010.
The Foundation offers cultural exchange programs for students from 14 to 17 years, coming from overseas, to come spend a school year in Canada as well as give the opportunity to our Canadian children to do so abroad.
I had to search for families in my area, do the interviews as well as send the necessary documents to the parent to ensure the smooth running of the Exchange. When students were with their new families, I supervised them, gave them advice and took part in outings for the duration of the Exchange.
I was also doing presentations in schools to inform Québec students of the opportunity to have this experience.
