Early Childhood Educator in Thornhill, Ontario

From January 2007 until May 2012, I was employed by the YMCA of Greater Toronto in their Before and After School programme. From March 2002 until June 2006, I was employed by Upper Canada Child Care Centres where I worked first as an assistant ECE and then as an ECE. I had the opportunity to work with children of all ages and multicultural backgrounds encouraging their learning process through natural curiosity, discovery, play and role modelling. Prior to my employment with Upper Canada, I worked as an assistant at a private home-based daycare and also as a shadow for a child with attention deficit and delayed speech. While residing overseas, I worked briefly as a nanny. I assisted with a child that had an attention deficit and delayed speech. Also worked closely with an autistic child and his EA to include him in the J.K. Programme.
