Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

I have completed my ECE diploma from Centennial college (2005) and Psychology degree from York University (2009). Currently working as a Team Leader for the preschool program with 80 children enrolled along side 10 staff. Responsible for welcoming new families by giving an orientation of the program, addressing concerns or questions, responsible for completing monthly staff schedules as well as facilitating monthly staff meetings. I have had the opportunity to attend meetings with upper management to provide an update on the program, the children and staff. I have been closely working with outside resources such as Early Interventonist, Speech Therapist as well as an Occupational Therapist to provide more stimulating environment and using strategies provided to support children with special needs such as Autism and Attention Deficit Disorder. I have participated in parent-teacher interviews to discuss their child's progress and address concerns.
