Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have been a camp counsellor for both day camps and residential YM/YWCA camps. Ages of campers ranged anywhere from 5 to 14 years old. I have led childrens programs through the YM/YWCA (gymnastics, cooking andamp; crafts, drama, razzmataz) as well as supervised Play Care. I have been a nanny for 2 year old twins and a 7 year old. I have tutored elementary aged children. I completed my ECE placements in kindergarten, preschool, and infant rooms at three different childcare centres, two of which were George Brown lab schools. I am currently a supply ECE at Casa Loma Childcare Centre, working in all rooms. I completed my B...... in which I had 4 placements (gr 2/3, kindergarten, gr 5/6 at a public school; gr 2 at The Mabin School). I have been a supply teacher at the Mabin School since September 2009. I have taught all grades there (JK-6). I spent the majority of the 10/11 school year working one to one with a grade three student at the Mabin School. I have worked with a variety of children with special needs throughout all of my experience with the YM/YWCA. I tutored a boy in grade two with special needs. I have had specific experience with children with special needs at Casa Loma Childcare Centre. I worked one to one with a grade three student at The Mabin School.
