Early Childhood Educator in Dunnville, Ontario

I am writing to apply for a position as an Early Childhood Educator or Assistant. I believe that I possess the necessary skills and experience to excel in any position within your center. I have a passion for working with children of all ages and extensive knowledge of early childhood development as well as an abundance of experience in the field. As my resume indicates, I have worked in many childcare centers over the past five years where I have gained valuable experience working with children of all age groups. I was the program supervisor for a school age program for a year and a half. I spent the other years in various infant, toddler and preschool programs within various centers. I have an abundance experience with the required documentation and records that need to be kept in a childcare center to meet Ministry requirements. I am familiar with both the Early Learning for Every Child Today and How Does Learning Happen documents. I have a wealth of experience in program planning for all age groups. I am experienced in making documentation that shows what the children are learning, experiencing, exploring, and engaging in during their time in care. I have excellent communication skills and can work both independently and as part of a team. Although I am not a registered Early Childhood Educator, I am currently enrolled at St. Lawrence College in their Early Childhood Education online program. I have completed most of the courses to finish my diploma, with only seven courses remaining (currently I am completing three courses). I believe that I meet the required criteria to obtain Director’s approval through the Ministry of Education if desired.
