Early Childhood Educator in Didsbury, Alberta

I am an Elementary school teacher, currently subbing for Chinooks Edge. I have some experience working in a daycare and also have my own 2 year old at home. I have always had an interest in the early years; so much important learning happens there! I believe in learning through play and creating real life learning experiences. I love to make resources to teach with and already have a large binder full of nursery rhymes, finger plays, poems and songs. I enjoy using sensory bins and open ended play, and I am always searching pinterest for new activities. I have a large library of children's books from my time teaching grade 1 and would cherish an opportunity to use them again. I am looking at a career change, at least while my children are young. I would love to have a job where I can build relationships with my students and watch them learn and grow (without all of the planning, grading, report cards and work that comes home with teachers).
