Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

Hello, my name is Ancie David and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education at the University of Alberta, with an expected graduation in December 2026. I have a strong passion for creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where every student feels seen, supported, and excited to grow. My experience working with children across various age groups has shaped me into a patient, creative, and adaptable educator-in-training. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a range of educational and youth-focused roles—including as a Junior Tutor supporting neurodiverse learners, a Child and Youth Instructor at YMCA camps, and a Music Education Director with Musicbox, a children’s charity. These experiences have allowed me to develop skills in lesson planning, classroom management, differentiated instruction, and building positive relationships with students and families. I’m currently seeking an opportunity to continue growing as a teacher by contributing to a supportive, student-centered school community. I would love to bring my energy, empathy, and enthusiasm for learning into the classroom while gaining valuable hands-on teaching experience.
