Early Childhood Educator in Stoney Creek, Ontario

I graduated from Mohawk College in 2013, and have been working in a daycare setting since then. I have worked full-time in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms and was responsible for opening/closing the room, programming activities and experiences for the children, documentation, following daily routines, and general upkeep of the classroom. I have also served as Assistant Program Director and was responsible for opening the centre each morning, answering phone calls and emails, accepting payments from parents, and overseeing staff. I consider myself to be a creative person. I enjoy making materials for circle/gathering time and implementing open-ended process art activities. I also really enjoy planning/setting up sensory activities (the messier the better!)
